Victoria Interlock was built on a simple idea: do the work properly, use the right materials, and stand behind every project. That mindset comes from experience, not shortcuts.

The company was founded by Jasper Osterhoutcode, who grew up in the hardscaping and landscaping trade. Jasper’s father started Island Interlock in the Comox Valley more than 30 years ago, and that’s where Jasper began learning the industry from the ground up. From base preparation and drainage to pavers, retaining walls, and planting, he learned early that quality landscapes start below the surface.

That hands-on background still shapes how Victoria Interlock operates today.

Before launching Victoria Interlock in the Greater Victoria area, Jasper worked on a wide range of residential and commercial projects across Vancouver Island. One of the most notable is the Kingfisher Resort courtyard, a project that reflects the level of craftsmanship, planning, and execution that defines the company’s approach.

Rather than chasing trends, Victoria Interlock focuses on proven construction methods, thoughtful design, and materials that perform well in Island conditions. Slopes, bedrock, drainage, and coastal weather are treated as design inputs, not obstacles.
